Riccarton bush is nature close to home, with a beautiful walk that is suitable for any age, prams and wheel chairs. If you are clever you might find a kiwi guardian sign post.

Mental Health Awareness Week NZ Anne's Falls Walk

Park at the Gibraltar Rock car park on the Summit Road, then walk 50m south along the roadside to the start of Omahu Bush’s Kirk Track. The track to the bottom of the valley will take around an hour, and the waterfall is down a signposted side trail. There are various tracks you can take to the falls and back - a map is at the start. Allow at least 2 hours return to get to the waterfall, and note that the track is steep in parts. No dogs allowed.
